You can access your e-mail accounts via POP3 clients such as Outlook Express.

Your mailserver is pop.yourdomain.com

You can also check your mail via webmail if your account included it.

Make sure when creating mail accounts, you check the checkbox labeled 'Mailbox'. Even though you enter a password, your Mailbox isn't created unless you check the box and hit Update.
